The Wacker 60078592 is a liquid primer that comprises a blend of reactive siloxanes and silicone resins dissolved in a mixture of isoalkanes. Once the solvent evaporates, it leaves behind a sturdy silicone resin film. This film solidifies when exposed to atmospheric humidity, either at room temperature or when elevated. Importantly, it adheres securely to the substrate. Subsequently, the catalyzed silicone rubber applied on top will establish a strong bond with this resin film as it undergoes vulcanization.
