3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Composite Surfacing Film AF 325 LS Blue is a thermosetting epoxy that we developed as an excellent product for surfacing composites, where its smooth, void-free surface with minimal pinholes reduces the need for subsequent surface fill or finishing and pre-paint prep. It includes copper mesh for lightning strike protection.
3M AF 325LS Features:- Available in both white and blue to provide color contrast to underlying composite prepreg
- Available with copper mesh for lightning strike protection
- Co-cure compatible with most epoxy composite prepreg systems
- Excellent for surfacing composite parts
- Low density formulation aids in pre-paint surface preparation
- Operational performance range from -67°F (-55°C) to 300°F (149°C)
- Provides a smooth surface with minimal pinholes and other surface imperfections
- Reduces the need for subsequent surface filling, fairing and sanding operations
