The Mitutoyo 293-180-30 is a IP65 Coolant Proof Micrometer. It uses a courser spindle by 2mm per revolution of the thimble instead of the standard 0. 5mm.The ratchet thimble in combination with the speeder enables a rapid spindle feed when measuring widely different dimensions, as well as easier one-handed measurements.
Mitutoyo 293-180-30 Features:- Enables more stable measurements, while the clicks emitted when the work piece is being measured assure the operator that measurement is proceeding normally
- Carbide tips resists wear on the measuring faces for accurate measurements for an extended period of time
- Built-in “Hold” function freezes the displayed value, enabling the micrometer to be removed from a workpiece for better viewing when the readout is not easily visible
- Models are also available with SPC output
- IP65 protection permits use in environments exposed to cutting oil, dust, etc.
