The 3M™ Polyurethane Protective Tape 8999 K11 Rotor Blade Protection Kit consists of 3M™ Polyurethane Protective Tape, 3M™ Adhesion Promoter 86A, squeegee and a technical bulletin. Designed for the CH-47 Chinook, but can potentially be used with other airframes, the kit includes custom cut pieces of 3M™ Polyurethane Protective Tape and application accessories – everything needed for rotor blade protection training or field installation. These tape sections are pre-cut to conform to rotor blades for easy installation and added protection. The tape is paintable or can be applied over painted surfaces and form a protective barrier between vulnerable surfaces and damaging elements. Our polyurethane protective tape contained in this kit is one of the most economical and effective solutions available to protect high value assets that are subject to minor impact damage.
