Our green Scotch-Brite™ Disc 96 is effective for general purpose scrubbing, cleaning, polishing and finishing. This durable disc contains very fine aluminum oxide grain and is designed for faster action and prolonged utility over common green pads. Non-rusting and resilient, it works like steel wool without leaving metal slivers behind.

Originally designed as a food services scouring material for fast, easy removal of stubborn particles such as baked food from cookware, our long-lasting Scotch-Brite™ Disc 96 excels at cleaning all kinds of surfaces that require a lighter abrasive. The resin coating on the fibers is carefully calculated to optimize scrubbing effectiveness. A small amount of very fine mineral distributed throughout the disc boosts cleaning capability without leaving unsightly scratches. It contains slightly less mineral than our popular maroon Scotch-Brite™ 7447 Pad for a gentler application. These features make this disc ideal for household type surfaces and aerospace or automotive interiors where many different surfaces require upkeep.

Versatile Disc for Use on Many Surfaces
Its versatility makes this a great general purpose cleaning disc. Not only for food scouring, this disc is a handy solution for removing grease, carbon, hard water stains and other contaminants from most surfaces, including cookware, kitchen utensils and equipment, floors, stairways, walls, railings, desks, seating areas, counters, and maintenance equipment. It is used for general maintenance in a range of industries, including aerospace, AOEM, marine, paint prep, and woodworking. This sturdy, aggressive cleaning disc can scratch some delicate surfaces, so it is not recommended for your highly polished stainless steel or other fine surfaces.

Open, Non-Woven Construction Makes Cleanup a Breeze
The open web design of Scotch-Brite™ Disc 96 resists clogging and cleans up easily. Simply use a sprayer to remove debris, then hand wash in soapy water or place in your dishwasher. This synthetic scrubber can also be soaked in a cleaning solution.
