The MG Chemicals 842UR-55MLelectromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding coating is a 1-part, heat-cured, silver coating. The coating is smooth, flexible, durable, and provides superb electrical conductivity at a low film thickness. It remains flexible at low temperatures, provides great adhesion to many substrates, and provides solid environmental stability.
Conductive paints like the 842UR are an easy way to metallize parts. The paint creates a Faraday cage around electronics that has a notable shielding effect. The shielding paint contains a silver flake that shields well against high frequencies. The coating also imparts low film build and does not corrode or degrade in harsh climates.
