The Sumitomo Electric 202-10001 is a polyamide type hot-melt adhesive compatible with Sumitube polyolefin and dual-wall heatshrinkable tubings. DPX-1 Tape develops good adhesion to polyolefin, PVC, EVA, copper and aluminum. It is not recommended for use with Kynar or other fluoroplastic substrates.
DPX-1 Tape is intended for use when extra adhesive may be needed for a heat shrinkable tubing application. Examples include areas between wires in larger bundles and on the ends of larger diameter heat-shrink products that may not be available with pre-coated adhesive.
