The Caiman 1485-XL is a pair of Elk Skin Wool Insulated Welding Gloves designed to provide superior durability, heat protection, comfort, and dexterity for demanding welding applications. Constructed from heavy genuine American elk grain leather, these gloves offer long-lasting performance and excellent abrasion resistance. The unlined reverse grain elkskin palm provides maximum feel and dexterity, while the FR (flame-resistant) wool insulated back helps protect against heat exposure. Reinforced palm and thumb straps enhance durability in high-wear areas, and black split cowhide welted seams provide added strength and protection. Featuring patches, padding, and reinforcements, these gloves deliver improved comfort and impact protection during extended use.
