The Mitutoyo 227-223 is a quickmike type non-rotating spindle disc micrometer is designed to measure the root tangent length of spur gears and helical gears with high accuracy and faster speeds. This micrometer uses flat discs constructed of hardened steel; their thinness allows for reliable measurements in tight spaces.
