3M™ Soft Interface Disc Pad is constructed of ½ inch soft density foam with a 3M™ Clean Sanding hole pattern to allow dust extraction and minimize loading during sanding. The soft foam construction enables the pad to conform to edges and contours, making it a good match for sensitive workpieces where gouging and marring is a top concern.
Providing Cushion and Conformability3M™ Soft Interface Disc Pad provides a greater cushion and more conformability than a pad with medium density foam. Use this pad to reduce edge cutting when the pad is tipped on edge and maintain closer contact with the edge while maximizing dust extraction. The pad contains a series of uniquely designed holes which match those in 3M™ Clean Sand Back Up Pads, allowing sanding dust to be pulled through the holes and away from the sanding surface. This improves the work environment and prolongs disc life.
Easy AttachmentThe Soft Interface Disc Pad has two sides. One side features loop material, which attaches to the back up pad used on the sanding tool. The opposite side contains hook material, which attaches to the Hookit™ sanding disc of choice.
