Optimum® Flexible Dispense Tips – Precision for Hard-to-Reach Areas
Optimum® flexible dispensing tips are designed for accurate, repeatable fluid deposits in areas that are difficult to access. Made with inert polypropylene tubing, these tips flex easily along edges and around corners, making them ideal for painting, solvent bonding, and precision fluid application in tight spaces.
Why Choose Optimum Flexible Tips?
Reach Difficult Areas: Flexible tubing bends and adjusts for hard-to-reach spots.
Scratch-Free Application: Special material prevents surface damage or punctures.
Customizable Length: Tubing can be angled or cut for specific applications.
Clog-Resistant Design: Ensures smooth, consistent fluid flow for repeatable results.
Secure Attachment: Patented SafetyLok™ hub thread prevents leaks and ensures drip-free dispensing.
Key Features
Free of flash, burrs, and contaminants for consistent dispensing.
Color-coded hubs for easy gauge identification.
Clear packaging with lot numbers for process control and traceability.
360° SafetyLok™ thread for safe, positive attachment.
Engineered hub flats for quick twist-on/twist-off handling.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Dispensing Tip?
A dispensing tip is a narrow metal or plastic tip used in precision dispensing systems to make consistent deposits of fluid used in assembly processes. Dispensing tips, also called dispense tips or dispensing needles, most commonly attach to the end of a syringe barrel reservoir.
What's the difference between a dispensing tip and a dispensing needle?
Dispensing tips are the components used at the end of an industrial dispensing head to apply fluids to coat, seal, bond, and fill parts of an assembly. There are as many shapes and sizes of dispense tips as there are industrial fluids and applications, but there are also some commonalities.
Can I reuse a dispense tip?
Like syringe barrels, precision dispensing tips are designed for single use only. The dimensions make them impossible to fully clean. Any attempted reuse can lead to cross-contamination between like fluids, dissimilar fluids, and even the cleaning material. Worse, particularly in the case of adhesives or high viscosity fluids, the tip could become blocked entirely.
