The DAS1800 is a modular high-speed data acquisition system designed for flexibility and scalability. Featuring a 10-slot chassis, this system is engineered for high-channel count applications, supporting up to 80 analog channels and 16 digital inputs. Its modular architecture provides plug-and-play capabilities, allowing users to easily configure the instrument without the need for factory recalibration.

The system’s versatility is driven by the suite of modules. Capture high-speed transients with modules offering simultaneous sampling and rates up to 1 MSa/s. Log low voltage signals and temperature inputs with multiplexed modules offering 8 channels and sampling at rates up to 5 kSa/s. Measure up to 1500 V DC (1000 Vrms) with the high voltage module supporting CAT III 1500 V and CAT IV 1000 V safety ratings.

The DAS1800 offers factory configurations to suit different applications. Users can choose between the portable (DAS1800) and the 19-inch rackmount version (DAS1800-R). In addition, the system supports advanced time-stamping and multi-unit coordination through optional GPS, IRIG, and PTP (IEEE 1588) synchronization.

A key advantage of the DAS1800-R is its focus on data security and workflow efficiency. The front-access SSD allows for instantaneous removal of sensitive information, satisfying data sanitization protocols in aerospace and defense. This feature also facilitates swapping drives, enabling users to retrieve massive data sets for analysis while the instrument logs to a new drive— minimizing downtime in critical test environments.
