The Hisco PTLS-500 Low-Static Polyimide Tape is an amber-colored tape measuring 1/2 inch in width and 36 yards in length. It's designed for high-temperature and continuous use in masking or securing applications. It offers excellent chemical resistance and performs reliably across a wide range of temperatures. It is particularly suitable for applications requiring low static properties.
PTLS Series polyimide tape serves multiple purposes across various applications. It acts as a ground barrier and phase insulation in high-performance toroidal coils and high-frequency motors. Additionally, it is used for end-turn bundling and connection insulation in small motors. In larger rotating machines, such as bobbin wound and form-wound coils, the Hisco PTls Series tape provides cross-over insulation and out wraps to bundle conductors while reinforcing insulation. Furthermore, it is utilized as wave solder masking for printed circuit boards.
Hisco PTLS-500 Features:- Thermosetting adhesive provides solvent resistance and outstanding high-temperature adhesion.
