The Transene SK-DZ1012-PAIL is designed to efficiently dissolve hard-to-remove powder coatings from intricate part shapes. It is used in an immersion tank at room temperature, no heating. Additionally, waste solids can be automatically filtered out prolonging the useful life of the dissolver.
Works with most ferrous and non-ferrous metals and can safely remove powder coating from galvanized steel, aluminum, zinc, copper, carbon steel and stain-less steel. Do not introduce water into the tank. Water will degrade the D-Zolve 1012.
Fast acting powder-coating dissolver. Factors that determine the dissolving time are thickness, uniformity and type of powder coating. Ambient temperature also affects the time required to remove the coating. The higher the ambient temperature, the less time required. An ambient temperature of 68°F/ 20°C is sufficient.
Penetrates the powder coating, dissolves the bonding agents used in the powder coating and reduces the coating to its powder particles. The solid particles drop to the bottom of the immersion tank while the pigment dye and bonding agents may remain suspended in the D-Zolve solution.
